James D. Skilling

James is the Senior Vice President of Equitable Advisors’ Northern California/Hawaii Branch.

James works with individuals and business owners to help them define their financial goals and provide strategies, products and services to help them work toward meeting their financial objectives.

James currently lives in Clayton, CA. and grew up in Discovery Bay, CA., He enjoys traveling, Golf, spending time with his family and mentoring new advisors.

James D. Skilling is originally from the Bay Area and obtained his degree from University of California, Santa
Barbara

Since joining EQH in 2012, James has been helping individuals and businesses accumulate, protect and distribute wealth through all phases of life. With the certifications, knowledge and experience he has gained
though managing his own clients and a team of associates, he and his organization can assist in creating
solutions to many different issues. He prefers to educate his clients about their financial products and services in a holistic manor, addressing all aspects of a client's financial picture.

James began at EQH in San Francisco in 2012 and was quickly promoted to Regional Vice President in 2016 and then to Senior Vice President in 2021.
